Merry Christmas everyone!
I will continue this blog later with stories and pictures, just wait.
*continuation*
I’ve had a very very happy Christmas this year and not only that, I was able to complete the Misa de Gallo with Carol but at different places and time slots. It was kind of like a Visita Iglesia, Simbang Gabi edition, but with 3 churches only. LOL. Also,we’re party people now, we’ve attended lots of Christmas Parties and Birthday Parties this November and December. Haha.
We had a hard time deciding which gifts to give each other so we scheduled a one-day event in for us to buy our gifts. We drew lots to know how many gifts one should give to the other, Carol drew 3 and mine was 4. We started going around the mall/s (Glorietta, Park Square, Landmark, etc.) and then split up when we’ve decided which gifts to buy! Looking for gifts with a time limit is fun and helpful if you’ve got problems deciding. LOL. We split up at Park Square 1 and agreed we’d meet at G4 30 minutes after. I ended up being late because I couldn’t find my 4th gift, and I had to go to the other PowerBooks (Greenbelt) to find it. I still didn’t find it though. In the end, we had 3 gifts each. Yes, may utang pa ako. Hahaha.
This year, I decided to join the tradition at Carol’s of exchanging gifts, monito monita or whatever you want to call it. I bought a cap from Penshoppe for Ate Jelle (the one I drew from the lots). The one who drew my name was Roan (Carol’s ??? *i forgot, i’m sorry!*), and she wrote: “To: Perry”. LOL. Bagong pangalan nanaman! Hahahaha! After the exchanging of gifts, we attended the Christmas Eve mass at Rockwell instead of the usual Sts. Peter and Paul Parish for a change. Before going to the mass, we ate at Pancake House. Pictures are in my multiply. (link at the end of the blog) The mass was held at the Rockwell Tent. Lots of chairs were placed inside and outside, with 3 proejctor screens outside. If you arrived late, you’d probably be standing up outside since there were so many people. We found vacant seats outside but we weren’t covered by the tent and it was starting to rain so we moved up front where there were 2 vacant chairs and I brought my own chair so we could fit. The mass ended and the rain also stopped. Yay! The finale of the Rockwell mass was a 15-minute fireworks display which I happen to have caught on video! The file is too big so I’m having problems in uploading.
When we went home, we waited for Christmas to come while drinking Hot Chocolate and eating Tita Marie’s Spicy Spaghetti. (mmmmmmmmmmm!!!!) We (or I) didn’t notice that it was already past 12 ’til it was around 1 AM already. Haha. We started opening our 3 gifts for each other. My first gift was a Tripod for my camera! Yeeeeeeeeeey! Finally, long exposures would be more stable now. Carol’s first gift was a Micro SD for her Nintendo DS. DoStoevsky’s memory is now 2GB! Separate but still 2GB. Yey! MY second gift was a shirt by Portrait that I really wanted when we were looking around. How To Make A Killer Robot! Heehee! Carol’s second gift was a set of new strings for Bruhie (Carol’s Acoustic Guitar), which of course I would be replacing and tuning. My third gift/s were two books by Paulo Coelho! YYYESSS! By the river… and The Witch of Portobello! I want to collect all his books! Weeeeee! Carol’s third (but not last) gift/s were two music CDs, a Wolfgang 2-in-1 CD and a Sound Album! Hihihihihihi!
In addition, Carol bought for herself, Benrik’s This Diary Will Change Your Life 2009 but didn’t seem to like it so I said I’d take it and replace it with a new one. Hihi. She chose the Design Your Life Planner 2009 which should arrive at their house any day of the week! Yey!
